BRIADWOODS COMMUNITY

Braidwood has many community associations serving the local area and manned by bands of dedicated voluteers.

There are many clubs, 355 committees, groups, associations and organisations that assist the local community to run shows, events, festivals, markets and many clubs around town

New volunteers always welcome.

Here are just a few

Braidwoods Visitor Information Centre - Open 7 days a week to assist visitors to town with touring information, accomindation, travel directions and infomation, road conditions or just a chat. There are souvenirs, local produce and books on Braidwood and it's villages history to purchase and take home a small bit of Braidwood.

Lions Club - Helping around town with all types of projects. Sausage sizzle each month at the Ryrie Park market, Wood raffles and street stalls.

Braidwood Mens Shed - A place to gather for men and boys for a chat a bit of wood-working, repair work for those who ask.

Braidwood Show Society - Holds the Braidwood Show each year on the first Saturday in March. A great family day.
